This article is long overdue. The days of “Wizard of Oz” Mentality are over: things have shifted significantly even in the last year:

User generated, user-filtered content now is the rule, not the exception

The technology knowledge gap is closing

SEO is all but completely dead: if you do not believe me, try to find a happy healthy SEO company that has been in business for any length of time: then take a good look at how outdated their prices are!

By posting quality articles to the right groups on the larger social networks, and the right niche sites, ANYBODY can reach thousands or even millions of people with a few hours effort, and no money at all.

By posting quality articles, with proper anchor text links back to a perfectly optimized site, in the right way, you will not only rank the target website for almost any organic search words you desire, you will also garner huge amounts of traffic from the hosting site, or group.

You can post the same article in many places: you must however make sure that Google and the other robots know who the source is to do that.

Then you can split your posts: “>>>Read more about <keyword><keyword><keyword> here>>” ; similar to how you used to have to go to page whatever to read the rest of an article in the newspaper

You can reach everyone n the whole world online: the newspaper is less and less relevant.

You can feed Google much easier and less expensively than trying to fool them: get used to it: you are not smarter than them and you do not have more money!

The world is flat: stop trying to steal, cheat, lie, circumvent: it is time to make a contribution to society!

People are gregarious: the internet is not going away – it is the roar of us talking to each other.

Do the RIGHT THING, and you will be rewarded: we are watching you, ALL OF US!

AGAIN, WE ARE WATCHING YOU, YOU CANNOT GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING!

Here is something you will not expect: all of you know something about something: it is the thing that you love: why not do that for a living! You can, you know:

The new business model: A.) write about what you know form an optimized blog (website) property of your own; B.) Re-post partial articles to niche industry sites, news sites and social networks; 3.) put Google AdSense on your site and let Google put 75% of every click charge directly into your account.

It amazes me that more people still do not understand business barter exchanges and how they work. Without the media trades I have made in the last ten years ( over $1 million), I would not have had half the sales, over $10,0000.00 in the last nine years of products and services I invented.

I received a call from a huge broker in New York yesterday, who’s name I will disclose here when he is ready: this guy has been quietly getting rich over the years: not by being a visible broker and recruiting a bunch of local businesses, restaurants, accommodations, travel companies..

My new client buys all these things on barter too, because he must spend the millions he gets on his business or pay taxes on the income: but this guy is unique: he has a foreign high quality kitchen manufacturer: the manufacturer provides the kitchens, drop shipped wherever: the manufacturer buys main stream print, TV, Radio with the money – the relationship, years old now, has made both companies wealthy.

It gets better: my new client is about to launch a completely free barter network site where anyone can barter for free, and only pay the broker if the transaction is brokered or requires the broker, tearing down the final barriers to worldwide barter

Most of you do no know that there are worldwide exchanges that buys and sell businesses, real estate and everything else with business to business barter: there are many Realtors, for instance, who accept half their commissions in business barter, then buy accommodations, travel, main stream advertising, websites, marketing, media all with the money, without paying taxes on it, really!

If you would like to be informed of the future launch of this free barter portal, or learn more about my local group, how i use it, or how you could start with an instant $1000 line of credit to start spending with, contact me: Israel Rothman 805-827-2450 israel@rothmanmarketing.com

” Upgrade current website to WordPress and add blog and iHomefinder IDX intergation….call anytime after 9am EST”

I called at 6:10 our time (9:10 EST) and asked him the question i already had an idea of the answer to:

“How did you find me?”

Of course it was a two word Google search: “ihomefinder wordpress”; which yielded this March blog post:

http://socialmediasystems.com/blog/seemless-integration-of-ihomefinder-idx-into-a-wordpress-blog/

I have been trying to explain this to people who are buying PPC and lousy leads for years, since 2001: because of ActiveRain.com, some of you are finally starting to get it. Maybe this example will help (PS: It is about the content!)

I am constantly reminded that some things that seem obvious are not, for some people, until/unless they are pointed out: when you write or comment on a blog, any blog, yours or a remote one, you are actually reaching at least two audiences that you must please:

At the least, you want the search engines and directories to value what you have posted

If nobody is to read it, why post it: you also have your readers (2nd audience)

You may need to please the editor/blog owner, to get that person to approve your comment or post

You may need to please a moderator, as at Active Rain or Realtown.com, Associated Content….

From The Rothman Guide…

Spotting a Blogging Opportunity in an Over-saturated field

Common sense states that if you’re new to blogging, it’s going to be a lot easier for you to gain an audience if you pick a field that’s not over-saturated with high profile Blogs and thousands of new bloggers writing about the same subject.

If you are intent on entering such a field anyway (which is great), one easy way to differentiate yourself is to go niche and write about a narrow subject or go stylized and have a unique form of content delivery:

Take internet marketing, for example: Unlike many of the big Internet marketing dogs, we know that it can be easy to get an audience even in a saturated field, with a lot of hard work and creativity. The over-saturated fields already have an established blog reader base and a “culture of blogging” , but that’s not what this article is about.

Basically the idea is this: as the blogging culture of a specific industry matures, thousands (maybe millions) of new bloggers rush to start blogging about the same subject. As the new bloggers are faced with limited success due to increased competition, they start failing to update their blogs and market them aggressively. At the same time that this happens, the top bloggers gradually shift their focus to a more and more sophisticated (or experienced) audience, and their regular reader rate increases to thousands of daily / weekly readers. These two trends continue until the most popular blogs are writing to an entirely different audience than when they started. In many industries, there is either a flurry of news sites or DIY sites with longer, in-depth posts than originally, when they might have been more of an overview or summary blog when they started. This happens at the same time new bloggers are saturating the marketplace with parroted posts (duplicate content as the search engines call it) from the top blogs.

At this time, a HUGE opportunity is available and a market gap exists that many website owners / bloggers can’t see: It lies in a new style of blog that is writing to a less technical audience who is interested in the subject, not in a DIY (do-it-yourself), a huge news site, nor in the long drawn-out articles the top dogs are pumping out. The largest audience group in almost any field is not the geeks or peers in the same industry, but more of the average demographic of target customer / consumer that the growth of the industry produces. With Internet marketing, these would be small to mid-size business owners, professionals, and their employees (instead of fellow internet marketers or early technology adopters).

If a new blog is launched that can effectively write to the largest audience level and breathe new life into the basic concepts / ideas of a field without overloading the readers with too much news or in-depth coverage, it will succeed. If you can see where the gap I mentioned is and then keep your blog updated regularly, perhaps introducing something new entirely like video or audio, you should be able to gain a wide audience even in an over saturated field.

The key to success is unique in all the world content, which can only come from a human mind. You cannot get on top of the search engines with regurgitated spam.

I am officially a Ventura, California local now, I have a surfer as a client after 2 year!

Seriously: I am inspired this morning, this project really got me thinking about several things you may not think are related:

The Zen and culture around surfing

Investment in California Real Estate

Venture capital, private placements, REIT’s (private real estate investment trusts)

Opportunities for real estate professionals

Online Marketing

I promise not to bore you:

The Zen and culture around surfing..

Interesting: I have been in Ventura California for a little over two years now. I was flabbergasted initially: how could this place remain so inexpensive, unpopulated: when it is sooo beautiful. After a couple of months of visiting chamber of commerce meetings and local leads groups, I described trying to sell to a surfer like talking to one third of a person; the other two thirds: one third is wondering when the surf will be up again, and one third thinking that somewhere in the world it is 4:20.

If you wonder why anybody would want to sell anything to a surfer, you are not from around here. Many high level executives, trust fund babies, and business owners surf: you must interface with surfers to live here. They have a culture, a Zen:

They love their lives and their sport

They are experts at many other things and surfing, and all of them are experts at keeping their priorities straight

I have learned to respect and value their perspective on life in general: as in Real Estate, and in life, priorities matter: our lives are greatly affected by the decisions that we make.

Investment in California Real Estate

It is absolutely amazing to me: I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, but always thought of southern California as an over-populated mess. I had only seen it by flying in for conventions – I had no idea: most of California is wide open spaces, really. If more people knew this, there would be twice as many people, and there would still be plenty of room: the endless miles of pristine beaches with no population at all; if you are not from here, you do not know or you would be here. Think about this: do not expect this to change anytime soon: the growth hasn’t even begun, really. With the changes taking place in how people work and live (at home), the landscape of roads, cities, and population demographics, Zoning; all are in for wholesale change, and, with change, comes opportunity.

Venture capital, private placements, REIT’s (private real estate investment trusts)

Jeff Belzer is a surfer, with local fiends: he grew up here, and owns a local surf school where everyone’s kids learn to surf safely. If you have every been to this part of California, or Santa Barbara, Carpenteria, many other coastal towns here: then you know that there are mainly thee elements to society here:

The already rich (trust fund babies, entertainment relatives, etc..)

The people who work on their cars, tend bar, mow lawns, wait tables…

The middle class here consists almost completely of military, civil service (police, medical, fireman etc)

The simple fact is that there is plenty of money laying around doing nothing at the moment. If I were a Realtor, or a property management professional, I would definitely be putting together a private offering to raise money to buy REO opportunities and flip them: in Jeff Belzer’s's case, he knows the people who he taught to surf, they have the money, and they like him: perfect! The question comes to mind: how many of you are in a similar position to raise a pool of investment funds? How timely is this when there is so much money sitting on the sidelines, and nobody knows where to put it?? WAKE UP! SOMETHING IS MOVING AND YOU ARE BEING LEFT BEHIND!

Opportunities for real estate professionals:

You can go to PPMFast.com: this is the best place I know to get all your forms and paperwork: for under $100 you can download a complete template up-to-date and legal in your state: you just fill in the blanks and start raising money: in this country, you can start as many business as you like, raise money form anyone who will give it to you , in increments of any amount $5000, $5,000,000 whatever. With Regulation D Rule 504 of the federal securities laws, and similar exemptions under state “Blue Sky Laws”, you can even raise $1,000,000 from up-to 35 unsophisticated, small investors without a background in business: and an unlimited number of ‘sophisticated’ or ‘accredited ‘ investors (most of the people a Realtor or Real Estate professional deals with fall into this category – all agents and brokers are Accredited) Under REG D, RULE 506: you can raise AN UNLIMITED AMOUNT FROM ACCREDITED AND/OR SOPHISTICATED INVESTORS!

Why aren’t more of you doing this: you have the contacts, the expertise, and the cost is nominal?? IF YOU CAN ACTUALLY SELL REAL ESTATE, YOU CAN DO THIS!

Online Marketing: YOU HAVE A FARM ALREADY

As a real estate professional, you already have (or should have)

an opt-in email list that reads everything you write (mine is over 5000)

Groups at Realtown, ActiveRain, linkedin.com, Yahoo, Google…places where you can post partial articles that lead back to your blog, effectively reaching many thousands of group members for free, overnight.

direct email is not considered public advertising – in other words, you can ask everyone if they would like to read your ‘executive summary’ (I like to ask their opinion, so they do not even realize that they are being exposed to the offering legally in the process)

knowledge about what to buy, when, where, why in your market – every reason why they should invest with you!

the ability to buy, sell and get paid – difficult for everyone who is not you!

You can put up a nice blog like this one I did for Jeff, create an offering, invite your list…..now what is your excuse? Why aren’t more of you doing this?!

Now picture the Zen: you are writing in your blog, this article will be read by 20,000 people within a few hours. They will receive it because they have opted in, to a group, or a site, or your blog, or your Facebook, twitter…and they will read it, and they are all the right people. Do you know of more cost-effective marketing? article done, time to see how the surf is doing…get it? Israel: 805-827-2450

Three days ago we revealed the new collaborative video software at Moviepals.org:

“Watch original shows, join the mob and fight the Control.

Don’t just sit there, participate! Vote, promote, learn and help revolutionize the way we tell stories.”

And would you believe over 50 signatures already?!

Solomon made a movie way back in college that has been seeen millions of times (Boy who never slept) and it still sells on Amazon.

That was the beginning of this, his grandiouse business plan: he has invented and documented a legal way for the actors, producers, editors, writers, etc to own the property they produce collaborativley (which reduces the productins budgets to almost nill) – therefor full lenght feature films and series (like Mob Mentlity, the first three webisodes are being released any minute)

In three days after launch, this Manifesto has over 50 signitures (if you have ever tried this you know that that is success)

Just like Harriet Hemerling Bankruptcy Attorney , if you do not manage your reputation, somebody else will, and it may not be your friends!

It can be as simple as keeping a personal blog and a few accounts (digg.com, twitter.,com, facebook.com) to make sure that you control the rankings for your proper name. Of course, the same techniques can also help your rankings on competitive searches for what you do where you do it.

No matter what business you are in, but especially of you deal with people who are under stress and dealing with problems, sooner or later you will bump into somebody who is not happy, and, if you are not pro-active about your proper name and your business reputation, what your enemies have to say is what people will see when they Google you.

Usually we get a client for this sort of thing after they already have a problem – it would be so much less stressful for them if they would take preventative measures to avoid the problem in the first place – which is really easy for us to do compared to the more competitive real estate searches that our clients covet.

An ounce of prevention…

Highlights of ForeSee Results report on the ACSI E-Business study (Creative Commons) that was released today:

“Social Media: Customer satisfaction with social media sites is poor (70) as the industry enters the Index for the first time. It has the lowest industry aggregate score of any of the e-business or e-retail industries measured by the ACSI. Wikipedia leads the social media industry with a score of 77, which is 14 points above industry giant Facebook.com (64), a surprisingly low performer given its market presence.”

I will add my 2 cents here: it is very difficult to a get a site that tries to do too many things to work for the average consumer: the simpler the interface, the better. (This Moviepals.org example combines over 200 advanced features for collaborative video production and distribution with a clean and simply graphic user interface)

The dilemma, for social network website design company like us, is to provide more and more features, which once were expensive, for free; and still to maintain a simple interface that allows the gradual adaptation that supports the learning curve of the visitors: if it is easy to get started, the visitors will eventually learn about the more advanced features: it is like what we used to call a “puppy dog close” in copy machine sales: in this case it is a “puppy dog learning curve” that is the rule online: example:

“How much is that puppy dog in the window?”

“I’ll check, would you like to hold him while I see?”

It is a good idea if it takes a while to look up the price (in our case, to charge anything at all), because by the time the clerk returns, the prospect has bonded with the dog: exactly like a free user does with an anonymous profile on an online online dating site, and like all of us did with a search box named Google, and with ‘friends’ on Myspace.com and Facebook.com, etc.

However, as the application grows, the user interface becomes more and more busy, and that makes it intimidating to new users:

More from the Report:

“News and Information Sites: Customer satisfaction with news and information sites stays even this year at 74. The big news in this industry is the debut of FoxNews.com at the top of the heap with a score of 82, which is five points above nearest competitor USA Today.com (77). CNN.com brings up the rear (73).”

LOL (for you non-techies that means ‘laughing out loud’): I personally watch Fox News often online, and the interface is great and the news is accurate in my humble opinion: again a result of the gradual shift of power from the top-down architecture of the main stream media, to the “Meritocracy” of user-generated, user-filtered content sites that are more and more important as sources of news, and that have increasing influence and reach: this trend is a parabolic curve:

“Portals and Search Engines: Customer satisfaction with portals and search engines dives 7% to 77 this year and is driven largely by a 7% decline for Google (down six points to 80). “

Again, Google keeps adding features, making the interface more and more complicated, and creating more and more opportunities for non tech-savvy consumers to be dissatisfied if they have not already learned the interface – which, BTW, I find to be completely intuitive and easy to navigate in spite if it’s robust depth.

“Bing was measured for the first time this year, and it makes a strong first showing with a score of 77, second only to Google.”

This may be the biggest thing to watch in the report: Bing is gaining back market share, and the search engine and browser wars will not be over any time soon!

Believe it or not, it is a documented fact that I reserved socialmediasystems.com and .org for $8.95 each in the spring of 2007, and everyone asked me:

“Why did you call it social media?”

(CC Wikipedia | ‘A moment’s insight is sometimes worth a life’s experience’ – Oliver Wendell Holmes)

As silly as that question sounds today, it was legitimate only three years ago.
I answered: “You will see soon enough.”

But this heads up is not about me, or the past: it is about today, and the future:

First a Wikipedia definition:

” Meritocracy is a system of aristocratic or oligarchical government[1[2 or other organization wherein appointments are made and responsibilities assigned to individuals based upon demonstrated intelligence and ability (merit), evaluated using (frequent) institutionalized examination.

This is opposed to other value systems, where reward and legitimacy is based upon possession of wealth (plutocracy), origin (aristocracy), family connections (oligarchy), property, friendship (cronyism), technical expertise (technocracy), seniority (gerontocracy), popularity (representative democracy), or other historical determinants of social position and political power.”

Now our modern, shortened, slightly enhanced spin from the MoviePals.org Manifesto:

“Those who do the most work on a project should have the most say in the direction of that project. If votes are used, they should be weighted by participation (called a Meritocracy).”

If you are wondering how much more if this you are going to read: read this list well known and existing online meritocracies first:

Google.com

Facebook.com

DIGG.com

Meetup.com

Linkedin.com

Yahoo groups

AssociatedContent.com

Activerain.com

Hotornot.com

OKCupid.com

this list will be way too long!

Now I will get very close to home: In the past, Hollywood controlled access to the audience, the Associated Press controlled the news, the AMA controlled all remedies; IBM and 3M and Zerox controlled the office machine industry; Yahoo was the largest search engine in the world….this list would also be too long…

Are you beginning to see a pattern here? “A moment’s insight..” right now, will conquer your market permanently in one year or less if you listen to me now: almost every niche community, from lawyers, to doctors, to dentists, to government employees is up for grabs: what online meritocracy do yo need to create? This is less expensive than it has ever been, and your other methods will fade faster than you ever imagined: will you stay in business?

Non-Meritocracies that are in real trouble right now:

The AMA
The SEC
Almost every government in the world ..again the list is too long… and your business if you do not adapt immediately: forget SEO, the algorithms will favor one of the existing Meritocracy replacements for your website in your industry every time: example:

Take a good look at the software we have built in the last six months to automate the next wave of online Meritocracies: a picture paints a thousand words:

My latest list of predictions:

Every City and State will have at least one and probably many online meritocracies

Every occupation will have them

Every sport will have them

Every art form will have them ..again the list is too long…

The best way to get this across is to show you what we are doing ourselves: this went out to our 5000 person Moviepals.org double opt-in email list: and it is being posted on industry blogs and social networks all over the world as we speak; free press releases, …

Greetings MoviePals,

We hope this communication finds you well. The revolution is set to begin. For years, aspiring filmmakers have had to grovel before the Control, the gatekeepers standing between artists and the public. The math was very simple: Movies don’t get seen unless the Control gives them a distribution deal. But a new variable has been added to the equation. Thanks to the Internet, millions of people are able to see great entertainment made on shoestring budgets with no middleman getting in the way. Now it’s time to make the big push. We are producing content, beginning with our new series, Mob Mentality, that will change the way films are made.

But it all depends on you. Our strength is in our numbers. We are going to show the Control just how formidable we are by letting them have a head count. You can start by going to the new and improved http://moviepals.org, reading the MoviePals Open Cinema Manifesto, and signing it by leaving a comment to affirm your enthusiasm for Collaborative Film, where you have a voice in the filmmaking process, and where your influence is directly linked to the amount and quality of the work you put into it! We’re getting ready for the big push here, people, starting with release of our new series, Mob Mentality, the world’s first crowd-driven web series. As MoviePals members, you have the option of joining the Mob and having a direct say in the direction of the series. More on that to follow.

When you’ve signed the Manifesto, go to the Missions page by going to the Mob tab and clicking Missions. It is imperative that these missions be completed. The fate of this movement depends on it! As time goes forward, there will be more missions of greater variety…and danger. Service in this cause is not for the faint of heart. If you do not believe in the creative freedom promised by Open Cinema, I advise you to turn back now. If, however, you wish to join us in this fight, we’ll be honored to have you. There is no greater cause worth fighting for than the freedom to dictate our own destiny, and MoviePals will never stop short of victory. Join us today! Sign the Manifesto! Join the Mob! Complete the missions! Contribute what talents and resources you can! Every little bit you do helps bring us that much closer to true independence!

To the revolution!

I have considered doing this many times over the years: I am going to publish the latest version of my selling system, which we used to sell over $10,000,000 in services that we invented to businesses over the last 10 years.

I should tell you that I have had almost every main-stream selling course there is on my thirty three years as a professional salesperson: first at European Health Spa (the Dale Carnegie Course);then Office Machines (fortune 500 training including the Lee Duboise course); then the automobile business (Grant Cardone, Tommy Hopkins…)

I credit all of these and many other great sales trainers for starting me off and many little tidbits have been updated in this guide to reflect a changing market. No matter what industry you are involved in, successful business requires sales: I will omit some of the stuff that is specific to my business, and I will continually improve and add to this so bookmark it:

Introduction:

Now that more and more business is conducted online, there is a gap between supply and demand that can only be filled with knowledge of how and why people make decisions to buy, or not to buy as the case may be.

1. Rule number one: pick a battle you can win.

When people ask us: are you web designers, web developers, SEO experts?
We answer “no: that is a small part of what we do.”

These are all things that fall under the umbrella of what we do (Internet advertising), but each only plays a small part of a larger enterprise: making money online.

The first rule of any marketing campaign is to know the market and your target customer: in our case, it is a messed up marketplace: with everybody and his brother claiming to be able to design websites and/or create placement and hits; yet most of them fall into the category of the “blind leading the blind:” definition:
People who do not really know what they are talking about selling to people who do not really understand what they are buying, with no standards of pricing or performance.

For that reason, we take great care not to fit into any box that allows people to mistakenly categorize us: nobody who needs a consultant is willing to pay for one: so we sell the result of what we do, then do what we must to bring about that result; adding value along the way after the sale.

Since anybody else who can assure results with any consistency is exorbitantly expensive because of these very same problems with the market, we are positioned perfectly to offer a wanted and needed service to a starving market, packaged and delivered in a readily accepted bundling: which is the secret to repeated success in marketing our services in a competitive marketplace: we are market driven.

The same methods can be applied to any business (and they are all online these days!):

Know the market

Address the problems of the market (your intended customers) with the way you position yourself in that market (address the ‘pain’ of the customers, and provide a solution)

2. It is no longer who you know: it is what you know that matters: blogging:

It is like the difference between being a newspaper reporter, and owning the newspaper: if you have a free blog at blogger.com, wordpress.com, Google, Yahoo, Windows Live or anywhere else: the content will not help you get on top of the search engines (they actually insert specific tags to make sure of this!). If, however, you have your own, properly optimized blog originating at your site, you will rank for your chosen search terms – even thousands or millions of combination choices of key words!

In short, having a blog (on somebody else’s system) will not get you to the top of Google (The Media); but being a blog (from your own social media hub) will!

3. Why can’t I do what you are saying without you? I am a do-it-your-self-er:

This need not be a hot-potato issue: people will try to do everything by themselves to save overhead, and simply fail: ask yourself these questions:

Would you represent yourself in court?

Would you operate on yourself?

Can you grovel and blow your own horn at the same time?

The obvious answer to all three is NO: so why is it that people try to catch up with online marketing experts and years of experience promoting websites on the search engines, and try to do everything else they are doing at the same time?

Consider this: internet advertising (or any other specialty) requires a huge knowledge base in computers, programming, and coding standards, and a complete understanding of search engines, blogging, social media, and marketing in general. Even if they could catch up, and keep up, our entire staff spends every day keeping up with daily changes, and our existing online clout has link building power and page rank from our many profiles which is not easily duplicated.

But suppose for a moment that you are some sort of 24 hour geek who could actually do some of what we do: why would you want to deny yourself, your business the increased power of what we can do? Does anybody really think that they can see themselves as others see them; or that their business will not benefit from placement that they do not have?

And if they really can do it themselves, or with existing personnel, why haven’t they; and how much in missed revenue has that cost them??

Summary: address these questions head on and put them behind you.

4. I need to show it to someone else, can you provide a written proposal objection:

Here is the problem: the person you are talking to does not understand; the person it is being showed to will not understand: and there is another problem: people do not buy a product or service from anyone they do not like, and it is impossible to decide that you like somebody you have not met, at least on the phone.

Green salespeople do not hear what is really being said here: this response actually means one of the following:

I do not understand

I do not want to understand

I think I understand, but I do not want to buy

I do not want you to meet my boss because he will buy this and it will make work for me

I want to spin what you are saying to make sure we don’t buy it

I am actually naive enough to think I can do a good job of putting it across

I think I want to buy this and that scares me because I am analytical and don’t like to make decisions

I work by the hour and you are boring me, I am thinking about my date tonight, etc…

In all these cases, this is the best way to respond:

I am sure you will understand, and please forgive me for saying so: but it has been a challenge for me to put this across well: it is a longer-than-one-sentence thought train: it will definitely lose something in the translation. What I am hearing is that you need more proof and a better explanation: and if that is the case, trying to put this across on paper or remotely without proof or thorough explanation will be a waste of both of our time: do you mind if I suggest an alternative?
(Let them give you permission to do so – you must remain silent and give them a chance to answer to do this!)

It is not fair for you to be asked to bring this to the table, and take the responsibility for it if you are not convinced: instead, why not suggest that what I have to say is at least interesting, and that you value the opinion of your colleagues (the real decision makers – don’t say that part) : why don’t you let me do the presenting, either in person or on the phone, then you can talk about me afterward when I am not there: this way you have not endorsed me, just asked for an opinion; fair enough? (the answer is almost always yes – saving the opportunity for the sale!)

5. I need to run this by my ‘Technical Adviser” or “Cousin Vinny” objection:

This is one of the toughest excuses to overcome: it really means that:

I do not feel comfortable or competent to make purchasing decisions involving technology

I have no idea what you just said at all

I want to shop your price, because I do not want to pay you (don’t see the value)

I think I can get my cousin Vinny to do it cheaper

I do not want to believe what you are saying because I am heavily invested In the wrong solution

If anybody believes what you are saying they will know that I am an idiot

I genuinely want to verify what you are saying because

I am analytical and don’t trust you

I have a hidden objection I am not going to share with you, and this is my excuse to get rid of you

This is a tricky one, because in all of the above the customer is trying to end the conversation, and more explanation is needed.

Say this:

OK, I understand that this is a little complicated, and difficult to understand, but if your current technical advisers knew what I know, they would have already recommended these things to you; let me put this in simple terms (quickly)? (Usually this will peak their curiosity and they will agree; please do! They may look at their watch, and tell you to hurry..)

Now you must lead the customer to agree to what you are saying based on what they already know, completely by asking questions: that way, they cannot claim again that they do not understand or that they need advice: it is paramount that you require a response to each question before you move on:

You understand, from your earlier answers, that it would help your business to be on top of the search engines, right? ( require acknowledgment)

We have already established that you do not come up, right? (require acknowledgment)

We know that your current adviser (Cousin Vinney) has not been able to help you with this, it is a specialty, isn’t it? (require acknowledgment)

Then why would you base your decision on their advice?

(The customer is trapped now, must tell you the truth, which is usually what they do – there is some hidden concern, or they have been burned before, or they are not really the decision maker, or they have some hidden thing you must address, perhaps more proof, or something they don’t get, and, now that it is in the open, you can address it..)

Oh, (relieved) now I see what is holding you back, you are actually interested in this, but ..(now re-state the real objection they just told you, which they cannot dispute ) .. that is what it is, isn’t it! (they agree because they just told you it was) .. ok, that makes me feel better, (they now feel a little guilty for lying to you) and other than that very real concern you are actually interested aren’t you (this is a trial close they usually fall into) .. I am so glad to hear that, because that is the very reason why we have ….( proof, or tracking, or whatever it is that addresses the issue).. now they must either cave in and buy, or attempt another excuse, they often close right here:

What would I need to do to make this attractive to you right now and save going through this again? (Another trial close, you will not get any orders, or even get to the truth if you do not ask!)

Now, some will still say no, but it will not be your fault for not asking, and you will not need to wonder why! Perhaps you can better address that issue with the next guy who resembles this one, but be careful not change your proven system every time somebody says no – not everyone will buy no matter what you do.

6. I never do anything the first day – need to think about it objection:

This is the sure sign of an analytical person: a person who just flat refuses to make a decision no matter how compelling the evidence is in favor of doing so. People like this are always the hardest to sell to, and they are often decision makers. Making a sale to such a person is completely different from making a sale to anybody else, and it is the trickiest process I know: but it can be done:

Analytical people are not motivated by anything positive

They are motivated by fear and doubt

The only thing that will make them buy is an existing problem, or a missed opportunity if they don’t

The selling process starts out the same, until it is time ask for the order: then you get something like this:

“You are wasting your time trying to get me to make a decision today, I never do that” or ” I am not the kind of person who will make the decision in one day.”

Now you must shift gears entirely: if you push, you will loose the sale, no matter how compelling the argument: instead, you must retreat, only to come right back:

I can understand that! No problem, we need business next week, next month, and next year, just as badly as we need it today! AND WE MAY HAVE SOMETHING AVAILABLE AT A LATER DATE, SOME OTHER EXCLUSIVE WORDS REGARDLESS OF WHEN YOU WANT TO DO SOMETHING!
Let’s just wrap up and review, shall we?
(Sigh of relief with question mark)

Now go over the negative aspects of the client’s situation, nothing positive, coddling their weakness as you go:

We have established that you are already missing business, and that your current situation is costing you money, but I totally understand that you do not make snap decisions

We have definitely shown you real time proof that we can perform, and you have acknowledged that, but you are still not ready to be a client – that is fine

Although it is costing you money, continues to do so you still are not convinced, fine, I understand, and I am sure you can understand and remember that I shared with you that I can only have one client in this town who does what you do, and I must find that right one, because we will be joined at the hip with that client exclusively indefinitely

I hope you won’t mind if I am so bold as to ask you to recommend perhaps someone else local in your business who may be more willing to make a decision? I understand that you need more time, but I am sure that you understand that I must maximize my time, and play the percentages, I must move forward whether you are ready or not; nothing personal, just business: I need to fill this position and I cannot help everyone anyway.

Well I told you I would think about it and get back to you…(frustrated)

I understand, and I have heard that many times: I sympathize with you, it is a lot of pressure; but I have my own agenda, the evidence is compelling for you to want this, and I simply must realize that it is highly likely that in the light of such compelling proof, if you are not ready now, it is likely you will not become my customer, and…I am sure you understand.

Now is the hardest part: you must shut up, and not speak until they do, no matter how long it takes: stair them directly in the eyes, and wait patiently.

They will either close, or ask another buying question (answer and shut up); or they will absolutely commit to a timetable for a decision, and ask you to wait, insisting they are serious; in which case you say:

“Ok, but just for curiosity sake, you obviously have some other very good reason for waiting, do you mind if I ask what it is? “(one more shot at finding the hidden objection!)(now shut up!)

They will either give you the hidden objection, in which case you will ask for the order again after handling it and they will buy; or they will insist that they are serious about buying and ask you for the time to make the decision, in which case you will agree to a clear cut time table, and offer to send more information/proof in the meantime.

7. The why must I pay up front (I want you to commit to me without me committing to you) objection:

This is a very common objection and it is often used as a hello test, so handling it properly is very important:

I am sure you understand that most of our work is in the beginning, and we must commit time and resources to your project that could otherwise be used for other clients and our own ventures; we are also exclusive to our clients, so we must commit to you for at least ninety days without serving your competitors: is the money a problem (shut up – WAIT FOR THEM TO ANSWER!)

If they persist with excuses like I want to see you perform first, or the money is an issue:

Oh, I can understand cash-flow, would a credit card be better? (now shut up and let them stumble all over themselves explaining why they cannot put the whole thing on a credit card)

Oh I see: so you really would be my client otherwise right now, but the payment terms are a problem? (shut up and let them answer!)

Oh, OK: so if we could make some arrangement you would do business right now? (this isolates the objection, and smokes out any hidden objections that still remain – often the money objection is not the real one, read the rest of this series!)

If they say yes, unable to think of another excuse, say one moment: call your sales manager, repeat the whole interchange outlined here to your superior in front of the customer, and include all the reasons why the program would be good for this particular customer, then do whatever your manager says to do

8. I need to finish my website first, then buy SEO and advertising:
put it off until then:

This is one of the most common excuses not to make a purchasing decision: and it should be the easiest to deal with if you do it properly:

OH! Good to hear: they aren’t done yet, eh?

And other than that, you are going to be my client, huh? (Let them acknowledge, thinking you are going to let them off the hook: now you have them!)

Great, because some websites because of the way they are designed will not work at all, and need to be redone: and If I get involved now, I can make sure that your money isn’t wasted, by insuring that placement is taken into account!

Also, a static brochure site will not work anyway, so it is important to plan the integration of the automated features we will be adding during the design period, or some of it may need to be redone! (Now shut up and smile!)

PART NINE: I do not have it in the budget for this period excuse: budgeting calendar:

Think of how silly this is: advertising generates revenue: would you put off your income?! Handle this one this way:

I understand, and that raises a question, doesn’t it!
(Let them ask what the question is)

Well, if advertising worked, how much would you do?
(Let them struggle for a moment, then let them off the hook:)

If advertising works it brings in money in excess of what it costs: if advertising worked you would do a lot, right!?
(They will answer yes)

So the question is: will this cash-flow or not, isn’t it!? Is that the question? (Reluctantly, well, yes)

I am so glad you asked that, because, in fact, this will….

Now go back over all the reasons to buy, especially how much it is costing not to buy in lost revenues, PPC, etc, forcing them to acknowledge all the things they already have acknowledged: then say:

You really cannot afford not to do this, can you? (Now shut up! )

In my youth I sold 3m Copy Machines, the Secretary 2 weighed over 200 ponds, had to be wheeled in on a dead body gurney; and it would start on fire if you got a paper jam during the presentation.

The reason I share this is to draw parallels: it was not long before there were Savin, Rico, Royal and a host of other competitors breaking down every door challenging 3M (who invented the copy machine) in their marketplace. Just as this market has changed, so has Real Estate.

Stuff changes:

If there is fat on a hog (market), somebody will show up to do the butchering

Price competition always increases

Ebb and flow in this market, the construction business, any market: are constants

The playing field has been leveled – home court advantage removed

Increased competition confuses the market – consumers are confused

Many Baby Boomers have failed to adopt to new technology, making their clients fair game

A major changing of the guard is underway

Some stuff never changes:

The young are quicker, smarter, healthier and more educated with technology

Doing the same thing yields the same results: perpetual decline

Innovators win

Followers work for innovators

There is a dollar somewhere in the world to chase every dime over here!

Please bear with my parallels: there are many:

The top salespeople do not share their secrets until they no longer work

Beware the self proclaimed consultant/trainer!

Call reports have been falsified for so long that good office politics involve who can falsify the report to satisfy the boss and get away with it

You cannot do everything all the experts tell you to do and succeed

News flash: nobody makes 24 cold calls per day and does it well

The market is huge, constantly growing, constantly changing

I never made more that a few cold calls per day, although QUOTA was 24!

The system was messed up to where it was impossible to be honest and still win – terrible

I never did what everybody else was doing

You are sitting on a gold-mine that nobody is working!

I was number 1 out of 150 reps in nine states selling Savin copiers two months after I ‘jumped ship’

The rest of the story: very relevant

In those days they gave us keys to the office

Being an ex-logger (healing from broken ribs and a broken back) I woke up at 4:00 am every morning

With the rest of the world sleeping, I had nothing to do

The office was full of old files, some them dead for years, of past customers records

The ‘old clients’ were what I like to call ‘warm calls’

By 8:00 in the morning when the others started showing up, I already had a hit list of past clients to call

By 9:00 AM I was on the phone

By 12:00 noon I had appointments

They wanted us to sell four machines per month to keep the job

I sold 20-30 copy machines per month

I did not have time to chat, share war stories, or otherwise lolly gag – I was busy

Ok now I am hitting closer to home, hmmm? Now some you can use:

You cannot compete by doing what everybody else is doing – especially true online!

Most raining is outdated, regurgitated crap with the best stuff left out – again especially true online and in your industry

Technology is outdated before it hits the market – think if this in terms of technology training!

Everything you learn from self-proclaimed coaches is outdated by definition, because everyone is doing it

Doing things the same old way is like betting on the stock market by following the crowd: you will always loose by definition

If you are a follower you need to realize that and join a team with a leader: you cannot lead from behind

Now the challenge:

What are you doing different that will make you excel?

What is the top producer in your office doing that they are not telling you or anyone else about?

When are you going to wake up?

Who are you going to call today?

How is your phone call going to be different so that they do not hang up?

Why should I choose you over all the alternatives? If you do not know the answer, who does

What are you doing to maximize your exit traffic: how big is your list?

A major changing of the guard is underway: but you have an advantage: they do not make American real estate in Japan!

Need and excuse to call? Call me, I will give you many in a free consultation you will not forget! (yea, shameless plug)

“Watch original shows, join the mob and fight the Control.

Don’t just sit there, participate! Vote, promote, learn and help revolutionize the way we tell stories.”

“The Control,” in case you cannot tell, is the existing distribution system through the Hollywood machine, and, in a way, it is the existing Multiple Listing System.

In so many ways, the ‘ open-MLS’ movement in the Real Estate industry, and the changes that are taking place also in film making as a result of the digital revolution, are similar:

Just as the distribution and dissemination of video is no longer in Hollywood control, the M.L.S.’s and N.A.R. are no longer in charge of the real estate market.

Ok, so this is an ‘unpleasant truth’, as certain politicians would put it when they are stumping for: the rules have changed, and the world is now flat.

I, for one, am interested in knowing what you are going to do about it?

Perhaps you would like to sign this manifesto that will loosen the lock on creativity and give control and ownership back to the artists themselves.

Perhaps we need an open-MLS manifesto of our own, our own “movement”

What are your thoughts on these changes and what are you going to do about it?

In the words of Bob Dylan:

“The storm outside a raging, will soon bang on your windows and rattle your walls…the times they are a changing…”

The right entertainment is the new answer to reach any audience. Information age empowered consumers live, shop, and buy differently. They must be reached in a revolutionary new way. There is a movement underway to fundamentally change the entertainment industry to empower the artists and professionals themselves to own their own works: sponsored commercial and/or non-profit Open Cinema is a worldwide movement. As pioneers in the Open Cinema movement we have been invited to speak at conferences from Los Angeles to Paris and many places in-between!

Supporting this new cinema is cost effective and popular, as most of your money goes to the artists involved! The Mob Mentality web series will reach millions of people in the years to come, as have past projects produced by Moviepals.org founder Solomon Rothman, which have been seen millions of times on minute budgets. When you contribute to the cause of open and collaborative entertainment and at the same time receive massive exposure for your business, you are spending the most leveraged and cost effective marketing money you have ever spent. For a one-time fee, your advertisement remains in the video FOREVER! Just imagine getting millions of views for your ad, and paying 1/10th the price of an ad agency campaign! You can’t get that kind of deal anywhere in old media! We have plans that cater to every scale of marketing campaign.

http://socialmediasystems.com/blog/social-media-holy-grail-user-generateduser-rateduser-filtered-content/

It is time again, in on July 4th, 2010 to redefine the ‘down and dirty’ low down on who what where how and when for social media marketing and advertising campaigns:

There are revolutionary changes in the way people find their way to all media – it is a user-driven media

Interactive media means just that: that there is a two way conversation going on between the consumer of the content and the content producer: putting artist or author, critic or poet, advertiser and target market, manufacturer and consumer constantly in touch with each other in real time. The media becomes a user-rated distilling process where the best prose, video, and other media find their way to the top of the pile through the distribution system itself, which is modern organic search influenced by the depth and the breadth of what I like to call “organic media” – large amounts of perfectly formatted and robust user-generated, user-filtered, user-rated content exists now, and with existing audiences by way of social media marketing through niche communities and groups. I can get to exactly whom I want to reach out to with the right content that they are looking for online: the “black hat” search marketers and spammers of the last ten years in this new media are now being replaced quietly by a new breed of content producers and distributors, circumventing main-stream channels and creating a new marketplace:

The proverbial cheese has moved:

As the media driven society evaporates the society-driven media appears in it’s place!

Huge transfers in power and wealth and influence are taking place accidentally, changing the landscape of media and the marketplace forever

In a user driven, user filtered, user-rated, user distributed (sometimes called ‘viral) media, THE VALUE OF THE CONTENT DELIVERED UP TO THE CONTENT CONSUMER IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR

The race is well underway already to capture little cyberspace acres of niche communities. While large main-stream media are finally experimenting with tightly controlled user comments, a next generation of internet billionaires are already reading the hidden grail in these niche communities and online neighborhoods, and they are literally building to suit the properties that will pay them ‘triple-net’ for many years to come.

What to do about it:

Pick a niche

Research the appetite of the target content consumer

Become the source of that content

The proverbial cheese has moved:

    * As the media driven society evaporates the society driven media appears in it's place!

“First you complain because you haven’t got traffic then you complain about because an Internet presence brings, spam!”

In all seriousness If I did not have a spam solution I would not be able to function: it is as easy as 123 to monitor all my clients leads so that I can help them: This solution for that branded “sales at” email address is free and it works perfectly for me:

1. Setup your Google account to check your POP mail with Google.

2. Have your other mail program still check and remove weekly to remove the virus emails that Google leaves on the server, and also Check Google as a pop to limit the size of your Google account

3. Add ManyMoon Free CRM from Google Apps, and Google docs file sharing and chat: well I think you see where this is going.

How to make plumbing sexy and interesting online? I have been writing for over ten years about how sales and marketing are changing due to the empowerment of the internet shopper. The information age, in my humble opinion, has completely outdated many sales techniques and practices that involved feeding a customer through a funnel forced on them by the fact that the vendors, once upon a time not long ago, could control the distribution and availability of information and products and services, thereby controlling and even dominating the market.

Here I am telling you again that those days are gone: just as you cannot force somebody to come onto a car lot to buy a car, as many auto dealers are finding out ‘the hard way’, you can not control the market by controlling the free flow if information.

Now, instead, you must become the provider of the information, and the market will find YOU: case in point: askmrrooter.com, the local MrRooter Plumbing Services Contractor franchisee for three counties in Southern California: San Diego, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties.

As owners of three franchises and growing, the Southern California Mr. Rooter franchisee (my client), like most franchisees has tried all conventional forms of advertising, including PPC (pay-per-click) on Google.

Contrary to popular belief, P.P.C. actually almost always works, for a little while: more and more, people use Google and the other search engines as a replacement for the yellow pages, actually calling the first number that comes up without visiting the website. Heck: I sell websites, and lately I am getting calls from organic search where they have not even visited my website! So paid search works, until the inevitable happens:

Your competitors eventually see what you are doing, so they do it.

The words are on a bid basis, so the cost per click goes up from the competition

As the cost increases, ROI decreases until the profit stays with Google.

Now ask yourself this question: how often do I click a sponsored link or pop-up banner? Chances are you answer is either rarely or never!

By using what I call ‘permission based marketing’, or the informational dissemination technique, our client has found a way to garner user generated, user filtered content, and dominate the organic search results (that is correct, I am calling it ahead of time again) for plumbing Ventura California, plumbing contractor San Diego, California, drain service Santa Barbara California and many other related searches.

They bought our bundle that includes video and social media marketing for $999, and added article marketing so that we will generate the 56 weekly plumbing how-to questions and answers, and they will rank on those searches too: and the video we are making as part of the project will increase lead conversion and show on video search results with a thumbnail on Google, Youtube and others.

Eventually, they may be able to sell the lead generation machine back to the franchiser!

As part of the bundle, we will also submit them also to local search on Google, Bing and the others – making them come up for free (for now) on search results with the map and telephone number.

If you are a franchisee, consider this approach to your own lead generation website: and everybody knows already that http://askmrrooter.com is the place to ask your plumbing how-to questions!

Linkedin Has Redone Their Groups and Done a Complete Facelift and They Sent Out a Letter to All of Us This Morning Wow

Below is a preview and links about Linkedin.com’s new look. I write every day at this time, and it is no coincidence that I am writing about this today: Linkedin sent this letter to us all (everyone in linkedin):

We’re thrilled to announce the first major transformation of the LinkedIn groups interface since we launched discussions in groups in late 2009. This is the first of several major upgrades to our groups platform, conversation system, and moderation toolkit coming over the next few weeks and months.

The new interface has already caused an almost 50% increase in participation among the members of the groups in the most recent phase of the beta test. The changes will roll out to groups throughout the next week. We look forward to hearing feedback from you and the members of the groups you manage!

Sincerely,
The LinkedIn Groups Team

In march of 2001 I lost my temper and quit my job. It was not that it was not a good job, indeed, my job was one of the best in the dealership: I was able to set my own hours, I got paid on hold-back and dealer incentives.

But my career of fifteen years selling for the same group of dealerships under literally five different owners, had always been a love hate relationship. They never really liked me in the auto business, they knew it, and I did. They could not get me to “T.O.” my customers; in other words I considered them to be my customers, and in my naivete and youth, I wanted to protect them form the rather brutal system that the rest of the dealership worked with.

Fortunately, by the time a certain closer who never got to close any of my deals tried to get me fired daily for five years, I had built up a customer base from mail merging my clients: first with rudimentary copy machine letters called The Rothman Letter that I sent out quarterly, (and I still do today) and, by 2001, 750 families and businesses who bought all their cars and trucks from me. If I left, the clients left with me. I sold mainly used vehicles, I could sell new: but I would always switch clients from new, to slightly used and that saved them a bundle, got them what they wanted within their budgets, and they came back to me, just like they do to californiamotors.com in San Rafael, because they have the best pre-owned gems – (like the 97 Lincoln coupe I bought for under $4000, that has 93,000 miles on it and 100,000 left in it – somebody paid a bundle to buy it new! I had teh highest gross average in the store, in spite of selling on the Internet: my clients just wanted to circumvent the usual process, and I helped them do that: ) flash forward, I bought my car and did the paperwork at California Motors.com in San Rafael in one hour!

So I became the computer and Internet guru in the dealership: they bought me any hardware, any software I wanted:

“Just don’s talk to the other guys,m you screw their heads up” my boss at the time would tell me.

But I knew that, no matter what, this was not going to last. The Internet was growing, and I was not going to be able to keep us owning every key word search on Google and Yahoo and MSN for every year, make, and model that we sold: not on my own. At the time, Google was trying to go public online, something that had never been done, and I could see the writing on the wall. The dealership was spending $50,000 per month for gigantic print ads that were not working like they once did, with the circulation dropping like a rock.

So in 2001 I had been hounding my employers for years to let me try something: I wanted to advertise free classifieds instead of cars, causing the entire used and new car markets to move through our website.

Now finally, after years, they had decided to try parts of my idea, and they wanted me to train a guy to run the department I had invented.

So I got a little angry, and quit, and instead of paying my mortgage, I went into business as oregonfreeads.com with a homemade business card.

I lost the house, but in the process we went nationwide as Adsforfree.com, did over $3,000,000 in four years mostly with Realtors, because the auto dealers were just too difficult to sell it to. And, although we eventually did have a few really good auto dealers as clients as we do now, we went nationwide selling to Real Estate professionals, and, if not for a hostile takeover from second round investors, I would have been retired by now.

If you think of it, the model is still sound, more than ever actually: Instead of building an “I am a car dealer too site”, we have built a freeautoconsignment.com site, to facilitate the collection, aggregation and distribution of user-generated, user filtered content – the only solution in the long run of you want to compete online. The free ads sites were rudimentary in comparison; and the very expensive application we custom built and maintained for hundreds of thousands then, we now build and sell for as little as $599. It is now called a blog, or what we call a social media enabled website.

The Internet has become the media. if you want to have a presence on this media, you must think like a media person, and not a car salesperson.

Think of your website as a media, because it is: your clients, contacts, visitors are your audience. If you are entertaining informative, thought provoking funny, or controversial, your audience can grow, even while you sleep at night if your website is enabled to accomplish that task:

It would always have worked for the auto dealers, they just didn’t get it: just as retailers and franchisers and every different type of business who do ot get it still now: this user-generated, user filtered content approach is the answer, actually, for anybody who wants to really compete with professionals like me, and the clients from years past who finally get it and who know what I can do, like my client: californiamoters.com.

The only ‘Diamond Certified’ new or used auto dealer in the San Francisco Bay Area according to diamondcertified.org (meaning nobody could find one unhappy customer anywhere, not so good for their business plan, but said a lot about Bill Singerman, my client) Bill gets it: it is about traffic and eyes on the inventory – is the inventory is good, all else follows; the inventory is the content.

By garnering user-generated, user-filtered consignments, Bill is creating a ‘farm’ where more and more people can find http:/freeautoconsignment.com; we create a generator of user-generated content that is search-able by Year, Make, Model, location on Google, with every set of eyes seeing the sponsors message on every page. As for the users, their stuff will instantly be search able on Google! Now you have a definition for ‘viral marketing’: advertising that develops a life of it’s own, and spread from person to person like a virus.

There are millions of conflicting guides to how to do SEO (search engine optimization) yourself and a few really expensive courses that are always outdated before the first course is ever taught, even before the professor got out of school, and before he took his first class.

The best advice for the novice is to install a WordPress blog on their own domain and install and configure the plug-in: all-in-one-S.E.O. Pack: WordPress properly configured this way does all on-site SEO automatically.

Now all you need is this: how to post well from an S.E.O. point of view on any well configured blog, including this one:

Title – the title tag on a blog is the most important factor in ranking that post for the desired words: use up-to 7 key words (connecting words are not counted) and do not use any punctuation rather than these characters: | – _ .

The body – must contain those same key words at least once (do NOT do ‘key word stuffing’, once or twice is enough, or whatever is natural)

The tags or ‘key words’ – must contain the same words, leave out the connecting words, and separate each word with a comma only – do not add words that are not relevant to the post.

Immediately digg.com, facebook.com, and twitter.com the post or page.

Re-post the article all over as a partial article, with a “read more about _ _ _ here…’ or read the rest of the article about m_ _ _: yup, those spaces are the same key words, and should be linked to the post

Post regularly to establish a pattern with the robots to revisit the page, DO NOT TELL THE ROBOTS WHEN TO COME, LET THEM DECIDE

Of course there is always more to learn, but these simple instructions will work every time. Happy blogging! Oh, BTW, we can include training:
