Hello! I am Israel Rothman: I am an Internet Advertising Consultant.
I am currently Managing Member of SocialMediaSystems.com, the Social Media Marketing and Website Design Company which I founded in 2006 when I left Coracle Inc.com after a hostile takeover from a second-round investor; which resulted in the failure of the multi-million dollar company I created in 2001 (which was originally known as Oregonfreeads.com, then Adsforfree.com). The resurrected company (Originally called RothmanMarketing.com – A Sole Proprietorship) was launched from this domain. This new, leaner, meaner company (now known as Social Media Systems) has done over $1,000,000 in business in the first two years, in spite of the economy.. . I invented an Internet Advertising Service in 2001 that created search engine placement in the organic results on the search engines for category sponsors at a free ads site. This technology and our methods have evolved into the methods we now employ to create the same result by way of weblog publication and syndication, RSS distribution, CMS optimization and custom design, new viral video production and marketing; and our past and present Internet publishing and website properties.
My articles on the controversial topics that created this marketplace appear in Real Estate Magazine, Web-Pro News, and many other places all over the Internet, published and republished in many languages. The methods I have employed successfully, and repeatedly over many years to promote and enrich my life and my businesses, are the very same methodologies and systems that I use to help my many clients all over the world. Solomon Rothman, CEO of MoviePals Open Cinema, Senior VP of SocialMediaSystems.com
Solomon Studied Computer Science and Math at the University of Oregon, during which time he was also involved with this business, and became interested in films. Growing up involved in the ‘family business’, and two of his own companies since he was a child; Solomon has already resided over thousands of website projects, and supervised production activities with web development budgets in excess of $500,000 per year. He discovered his interest in films while in college after two years in the US Army: he has made films that have been seen millions of times on ridiculously low budgets. Solomon knows graphic design, Coding, SEO, and Drupal CMS, and is the designer for most of the company web-properties. Solomon custom built Real Estate Magazines’ existing 30,000 plus page Wordrpess Blog to their specs for scratch, solving database and hosting issues along the way (Rismedia.com) and was consultant on Realtown.com redesign for SEO, which has resulted in the robust community that now exists there.
Solomon is a prolific blogger, and his, many articles on technical and SEO topics have been published all over the world in many languages, appearing is such prestigious publications as Tech-crunch, TopRankBlog, RISMedia.com, WebPronews.com and many others.
Brian Bentow, CTO
Brian Bentow graduated from Harvey Mudd College in 2005 with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in economics. He won the Microsoft Technical Scholarship two years in a row and completed 2 summer internships at Microsoft; first in the Microsoft Office Outlook group and then in the Windows Media Player group. Since November 2004, he has worked as the lead developer at InstaMed, the first integrated healthcare and payment transaction processor where he focused on building InstaMed’s web applications and web services using Microsoft.NET, ASP.NET, and Ajax.
From February 2007 to July 2007, he collaborated on a RubyOnRails web application with 2 other developers for a startup in stealth-mode. Since that time, he has attended RailsConf, RubyOnRails Meetups, and has consulted others on using RubyOnRails in web application projects.
He has deep industry experience in the health care and payment industries including the health care transaction suite and all forms of payment (credit card, pin-based debit, ACH, check 21, EFT) and payment devices (check readers, credit card readers, thermal printers, etc). He also has experience with web application and web services development, parallel computing, and neural networks.
