Finally, a warning: when it comes to ergonomics, ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance can be the cause of debilitating injury and pain. Once you are armed with the knowledge of how to fix your habits and work environment, you will be compelled to change them, because you should never do anything dumb on purpose. It’s one thing to do dumb things by accident, but in general it’s a good life rule to minimize the number of dumb things you do.  Once you know that your computer habits are hurting your body and undermining your quality of life, why would you continue down the same road?
