Here are some prioritized changes you can make to your setup in order to compute in comfort. These prices are from 2008 and will vary; I mention them simply for illustrative purposes.

- Additional Monitor for Dual VGA (depends on video card support) – $100 to $300
- Chair – $100 to $300
- Keyboard – $30 to $200 and roughly 1 to 2 days’ retraining
- Mouse – $30 – $100 and 1 to 4 hours’ retraining
- Alternate Input Device – $100 to $400 and 1 to 2 days’ retraining
- Voice Recognition – $100 to $900 and 1to 4 weeks’ retraining
- Alternate Keyboard Layout – $0 and 1 to 3 weeks’ retraining
