Great post - I'm pretty impressed you posted this back in 2007!!! I can't tell you how many times I've had this discussion with my clients. In essence, make it simple for people to buy or contact you, and they will. Make it a challenge, and they're outta there...

Cheers -

That's a good 'check list'. Looks like you are working on 'conversion', it's one thing to get good position in regards to SERPs, but getting the visitor to convert, and do, or buy your stuff, that's a totally different thing.

Great Post.
Being in the SEO, SEM World every day, sometimes we focus so much on getting as much traffic as we can to a site for our products or services, that we don't focus as much on a users experience when they get there.

I think a lot can be said about SEO, SEM Professionals working hand-in-hand with designers to improve usability and give visitors the best experience possible.

Thank you.

You are so right about attracting viewers and keeping them. I believe website design is a "main key" in website marketing. A great website shows the viewers that your business is very organized and sophisticated. It will attract customers and readers because people will refer. And social marketing is crucial these days with the technology advancing so rapidly.
Great article. It should help me out and other readers.
