If you are single and have not yet tried online dating, you will!   According to the Pew Internet & American life Project’s Online Dating Survey , by 2006 the majority of actively dating Americans had tried to score online at least once.  Highlights of the survey:cute blond online dating

  • 31% of American adults—63 million people—say they know someone who has used a dating website.
  • 26% of American adults—53 million people—say they know someone who has gone on a date with a person they met through a dating site.
  • 15% of American adults—30 million people—say they know someone who has been in a long-term relationship or married someone he or she met online.

The table below lists the various dating-related activities included in our survey:

Since then, and in 2008 and the future, the growth has continued to explode.   My own 28 year old son met his wife online and was married within a few months after a breakup with another gal.

Dating-related activities online

Most of us know somebody who met their spouse or significant other online.

If you are like me, a person who was married for over 28 years trying to get back into the game, traditional dating is not even palatable:  I am not good at it, the bars and nightclubs seem like meat-markets where only the most adept game players can score.  I can get dates with eligible women in droves online ( I am on Hotornot, Match, Horney Matches, Plenty of Fish, and a few others), but the dates do not go well.  I am considered young looking for my age, buff, atttractive, sexy…But ai m not succesful atthis game.

It never ceases to amaze me how many of the poeple who are succesful at dating are basically worthless dates: middle aged men who have no intention fo hooking up with anyone, just looking for conquests and sex.

On the other hand, I am safe (have not been with anybody else in over 29 years, no diseases), patient, respectful, not in any hurry, self sufficient…and I wil hook up and finally get dating eventually, but I am far from good at it.

This is why I find my latest client, Casanova Dating Blog at  http://casanovasystem.org/ so interesting.

Sponsored by my client who has compiled an entire of book of secrets and techniques, this site will soon be the largest free online dating blog anywhere, and wil become a clearing house and fact-checking resource for all of us who once again must find a way to meet and establish a relationship with someone whom we have never met.

An underlying trend is the fact that people’s families are all mixed up: according to divorcerate.org:

“The divorce rate in America for first marriage, vs second or third marriage
50% percent of first marriages, 67% of second and 74% of third marriages end in divorce, according to Jennifer Baker of the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Springfield, Missouri.”

According to enrichment journal on the divorce rate in America:
The divorce rate in America for first marriage is 41%
The divorce rate in America for second marriage is 60%
The divorce rate in America for third marriage is 73″

Notice that the liklyhood of divorce increases for the second and third marriage; it makes one wonde whether it is tthe people involved who are ill suited for marriage, or if marriege simply does not succeed when failure is an option.

One thing is for sure online dating is clearly one solution that seems to be a growing trend in an increasingly mobile, less family oriented society.  It is also clear that people like me could do well to hone our skills when it comes to hooking up with unknown women.

For those purposes, I highly recommend the Casanova Dating Blog at  http://casanovasystem.org/.

Yes, in addition to the book (see Casaniva System Revealed:  http://casanovasystem.com/), they also have a very cool international dating site with women and men from all over the world: (see Global Dating Singles at http://www.globaldatingsingles.com/)

I have been on many dating sites, and I think this one is setup in a better, more user-friendly way than the others, AND IT IS FREE.  Like Plenty of Fish before them, I believe this free dating site will be the largest in the world soon, and the CasanovaSystem.org Online Dating Blog and Forums wil be some of the most popular RSS feed reading every, as people share stories of success and failure, and get instant feedback anonymously form each other.

I must say that I am at least as interested in reading other peoples experiences, as I am in sharing and getting feedback on my own!  Join the conversation, it’s free! (and you may just win a prize!) Casanova Dating Blog – Every Month a Winner!

The goal for this blog is to rank on organic search for exactly what it is: an online dating blog.  Then, when it grows, it wil eventuall rank for online dating, like Plentyoffish.com, okCupid.com and the other free online dating sites.

A tall order, but totally doable with sufficient time and budget.

Update: today it was picked up by WebProNews, (the first draft oops LOL) and it is on the first page for online dating right now under ‘News”!

Wow I wish http://WebProNews.com had picked up the edited version without the typos, LOL, their blog is so strong that it hit the first page for Online Dating, see the News section at the bottom!

Absolutely amazing that the client is still not happy, after we did all this: built the dating marketing blog, and created this ranking in online dating under 30 days, something they have not been able to do in years on a huge budget, in spite of being asked to move it all to their server in the middle of everything, and the client is still not satisfied or happy. We will discuss this case: how we did what we did, and problems with this marketplace at the next free Social Media Marketing Class in Downtown LA, which will be held the last tuesday of every month.

Ok it all dawns on me now, LOL, these guys are competitive knock-off artists from Japan, trying to get the secret sauce – that is why they insisted on moving everything in the middle of the project. They thought they would learn my secrets and use them without my help LMAO.

BTW, I have no secrets: everything I do is above board and visible: you can learn about it all here at the 3net Social Media Marketing Blog ;-)

None of it will work without my existing reach and established Internet properties, You will not get published and re-published (linked to ) unless you are a writer.

No wonder they are pissed LOL: they got nothing special, just what I do for all of my clients, and there is no secret sauce!

It takes an ongoing effort, and repeated links from high ranking categories on industry related authority sites to do what I do. I can do it fast because I am established, but long term success for a targeted domain takes time and hard work.

More news, they now want to buy more services, and we are transferring the domain I got for them – apparently this was the problem, they thought I would hold them hostage with the domain: BTW I NEVER DO THAT! Everything we do for you is paid in advance, and it is your property, as long as you keep your end of the bargain.

I must say I am happy to have them back, it is frustrating when you do a good job abd do not get a happy client: now we will get going again ;-)
