I believe writing is a matter of 'getting to it', because you can do it, and good quality content will score big time. I have a freind that sells insurance, and everytime I see him, he tells me an 'insurance story', a parable so to speak. He recently built a website, so I told him that he should write these stories because it would make good 'quality content'. Unfortuneately he was too lazy to do that, he ended up copying content from another site. I say write it, you can do it, gor for it !

Thanks for the comment, Kevin:) I agree; quality is very important. And the MyBlogLog bit is right on; its a great idea.

Engaging material that piques a readers interest is ideal. However, if you're not used to writing or think that you can't do it, the templates above are solid formats that will help you on your way to creating more interesting articles.

They're also formats that potential readers often click on and are easy for anyone to write.

I agree; one of the best things to do is forget about what you want to write about and write about what clients want to know. A good way to find that out is to get a mybloglog account, or something similar, where you can see the search terms people used to find your blog. Then write about those topics.

IMHO, the list of things to write about mentioned in this post are pretty mundane. If you can't break out of the "how to buy your first house" or "how to find the right realtor" boxes, you're blog is going to be flat. If you write about interesting topics, the readers will know that they have found the right realtor.

thx, k.
