Subject: My New Website
Our Social Media System site launched in late September 2007 and almost immediately we noticed an increase in customers that had initially found us on the web. Our web related advertising costs had obviously gone up with the rollout of our new site but the impact was felt almost immediately. As we have added more content to the site the feedback from new customers and existing ones both has been great.One of the best things about the new site is not only are we creating new customers with every article we write we are providing a valuable service to car owners across the country and those results are evident all the time when we get a phone call or email from some one on the other side of the country.This January has been a prime example of what we were hoping for with the new website, our web related customer sales are up $16,000.00 over the same month last year, when we include a $3500.00 repair we just got on the last day of the month.
But even better is that our customer retention rates are at all time highs since the rollout of the new website. This was an unexpected bonus, and you simply can’t put a number on how important that is in our business. Our new customers have expressed that their decision to come to us instead of the shops in their area was our website.There is something special about picking up customers in zip codes that were previously to far away to reach. Again this is truly priceless and another aspect of our website that has exceeded my expectations.
What we have learned is our website has given our customers a resource that they have found to be very valuable. By providing the visitors to our website with a wealth of information we have shown how much more we care about our customers over our competition.
Our Social Media System’s website filled with the content that I have provided is exactly what I had envisioned, a place where my customers can learn about their car by tapping into my vast knowledge on the subject and the information is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
So we are 5 months into the new website and I couldn’t be happier with the results to both our bottom line, and the positive feedback we have received from our customers. Sincerely, Justin Stobb
